I would like to thank you and your wife very much for helping me on my journey of recovery from ovarian cancer and will be very happy for you to share this letter with anyone who is contemplating an alternative way to treating cancer.  I will relate my story for this purpose.

In September 2009 I was diagnosed with Stage 3c ovarian cancer.  My CA125 cancer marker count was 162.  As I was so overwhelmed by the unexpected news I went along with the recommendation to have a full hysterectomy a week later.  A biopsy of my liver was taken during the operation which from the pathology report indicated that it had not only affected both ovaries and uterus but had already attached itself to the bladder.  A growth was also removed from my bowel cavity and the cancer had metastasized to the liver and possibly to the chest.  The oncologist I subsequently went to see painted a bleak picture of a 6 month chemo program during which the main side effects would be hair loss, tingling of the hands and feet and severe body pains which would needs strong pain killers to cope with.  It was then that I started having to think about the way forward and I remembered about Dr, Karalis and his approach to healing the body naturally.  Within a week I started my 32 day fast.  For most people that might sound too much but I found it a very special time as I was able to have total rest with plenty of fresh air and most importantly the support of a highly experienced, dedicated doctor who could not only deal with the physical aspects of the fast but also the emotional and spiritual aspects of my healing journey.  He was available 24 hours a day, watching my progress very closely which gave me great confidence.  After the 32 day fast I started eating very slowly spending another 5 days under his watchful eye.  The subsequent support has been tremendous and I keep mentioning to interested family, friends and acquaintances that the whole journey was very much easier than meets the eye.  I am now on a guided eating program as this healing journey is a process, not an event.  Mid December 2009 I had another CA125 blood test which has now dropped to 14 (acceptable is between 0 and 35), proof that the fast has halted the spread of the cancer. “ The cherry on the top”  On the 27th January 2010 I had an ultra sound of my complete abdominal area.  The report indicated that there are no traces of any cancer growths anywhere.  The radiologist was surprised about the liver which showed no traces of lesions.  The surgeon, who was taken aback when I shared with him that I was not going to go for chemo therapy was amazed at the reports and very delighted for me.  I am back into normal life and able to enjoy feeling healthy and partake in everyday events.

So there is an ALTERNATIVE and there is HOPE.

These were my friends words when she returned back home from a 5 week treatment at Dr Karalis's Natural Hygiene clinic in Hermanus, Cape Town, South Africa.

Both she and i had been suffering from "thyroid problems" for the past 3 years.

I came to Dr Karalis at 160kg at a height of 1,57m my body was swollen the pressure in my head and lungs was not explainable and although I had no pain I did not feel good, my skin colour was grey and pale the rings under my eyes a dark black in colour, I had constipation for the last 7 years, and although I just accepted it as a way of life, I never bothered with it, today I know this was my killer, as I did blood tests for a few medical policies they could never pick up anything wrong, my cholesterol was 3,5 which baffled everyone ,I was called a freak of nature ,I cut my eating to once a day thinking I did my self a favour ,last year during winter I landed up drinking 26 cups of coffee a day from 9am to 21h00pm when I left work 7 days a week  for 3 months ,I then switched to 3 litres of water a day ,I drank a chicory blend coffee and I thought I was clever, little did I know.

My body this year started craving chillies, I started mild, then tobasco, then I switched to habanero, progressed to the red savina, and when that tasted medium I started eating the hottest chillie in the world the bin jolokia at a round 1million and 50 scovile units, at the same time I began to crave raw meat, my steak had to bleed when I cut it, smoked bacon I could eat out the packet, what was happening to me the craving I could not explain, was I turning in to an animal, how could this be? My sense of rezoning was so disintegrated that I could not see the pain and damage I was causing to myself  

Two and a half months later at 120kg and 40kg of weight loss a miracle of nature, I have tears of emotion in my eyes on the exelerating feeling I have in my soul after fasting, if you want to know how I really feel I can answer by saying the following

Dear Doctor Karalis, I came to you when I weighed 203 Kg's, my state of health was very bad, constant asthma attacks, bad water retention and always falling off to sleep because of the mount of prescribed drugs I was taking, and having to deal with their side effects, I did not know how long I would have lived if I carried on the way I was. Dear Dr Karalis

This is a note of appreciation for the help I received under your supervision. After having been diagnosed with Diabetes Millites on the 6th of January 1994, I was informed that I would have to take insulin for the rest of my life. For the next three years I injected myself four times a day (4344 injections in total or 54300 units). This cost me approximately R 9412.00. If I had to include the cost of sundries such as needles, Accutrend glucose strips, the Accutrend Mini Blood Monitor and all the consultations I've had with doctors, this figure would increase substantially. Fortunately, Ive only had to content with these costs for a relatively short time as opposed to a veteran diabetic. The added complications that diabetics have to face, such as amputations, blindness, kidney failure etc, also scared me especially because of the future medical costs this would place on me and the resultant burden on my family. So when I spoke to Robert Penny who had terminal Cancer (Malignant Melanoma) and had been given six months to live, and was still alive and well 7 years after treatment by yourself, I decided to investigate deeper.
I have since spoken to many patients who have been treated by you with incredible results. Not only does it save people the astronomical medical costs now and in years to come, but it gives them vitality and a zest for life that I certainly have never felt before. To conclude I would like to mention that for the past 17 days I have eaten 3 meals a day (generous proportions) and my blood sugar level has been perfect (between 6 & 8 molls) and this with no insulin. People have seen first hand the results in my case and have asked for your details. Dear Dr Karalis,

This is a short tribute to you, your clinic and your wonderful method of healing. On 2nd December 1997 after tests at Lancet Laboratories my Doctor Dr Mark Holiday told me that I had Cancer of the bone marrow. I was not the least distressed as you had cured me some ten years before of chronic Neuralgia. (I knew that you had helped in the healing of many cases of cancer.) I was in agony and the doctors could do nothing for me. I had to decide between having the nerve in my face cut out or stay on Tegretol for the rest of my life. You cured in 14 days through fasting.
Anyway when my doctor told me about the Cancer I booked into your clinic and started fasting. After eight days my blood tests showed an improvement. After 18 days I was nearly completely normal and after 26 days the tests showed me as healed completely. I was not in remission but completely clear of cancer. I recently went for a bone marrow test and my pathologist was astounded as there was no trace. I stopped fasting after 32 days. When you first suggested fasting my resolve and my hope collapsed as I could not even miss a meal, but you helped me psychologically to overcome my fears, and fasting proved to be very very easy under your care. I can only give thanks to you, for following ancient principles, and to almighty God for giving me the resolve to persist in the detoxification of my body which healed me. I recall that Christ fasted 72 times, and once for 40 days and 40 nights. I am quite prepared to talk to patients who are afraid or uncertain of your method of treatment.

January 1999 greeted us with a much friendlier face than did January of 1998, simply because we could see it as another year that dad could enjoy and live life to the full, rather than one less year that dad had left. I am 38 years old and in November 2006 was diagnosed with Hyper Thyroid which I had been suffering with the previous 12 months unknown to me.
